My 2012 in a nutshell. Tumblr-inspired. Got this from Tumblr. Haha. But I guess for me this is the place to put this reflection. And oh, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! THE YEAR IS NEARLY OVER. 1: What did you do in 2012 that you’d never done before? Starting college life. 2: Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Tried hard to fulfill it. Failing at it pretty badly. I'm keeping the same one for next year. BE OPTIMISTIC. BE CONFIDENT OF MYSELF. 3: Did anyone close to you give birth? Yup. My aunt. 4: Did anyone close to you die? Nope. Thankfully! 5: What countries did you visit? Singapore ( ._.) 6: What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012? Willpower. 7: What dates from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? My birthday, 19th December, and many more moments that I don't remember the exact dates. 8: What was your biggest achievement of the year? Surviving my first year of college. Well, barely. 9: What was your biggest failure? Self-disappointment. All sorts. 10: Did you suffer illness or injury? More frequency of colds, yes. No more physical injury on my left knee and ankle, thankfully. 11: What was the best thing you bought? Hmm, would be a tie between MSI GE60 or iPhone 5. 12: Whose behaviour merited celebration? I don't really get this.. 13: Whose behaviour made you appalled? Myself. 14: Where did most of your money go? Food. DEFINITELY FOOD. 15: What did you get really, really, really excited about? University life... 16: What song will always remind you of 2012? SNSD's songs. 17: Compared to this time last year, are you: (a) happier or sadder? (b) thinner or fatter? (c) richer or poorer? (a) sadder (b) about the same (c) about the same 18: What do you wish you’d done more of? Study. Revise my subjects :/ 19: What do you wish you’d done less of? Lazying around.. It's like the same every year. Damn. 20: How did you spend Christmas? At home with family. Blissful. 21: Did you fall in love in 2012? I wouldn't say so. 22: What was your favourite TV program? Don't really watch TV. So probably it's HIMYM. 23: Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Hmm nope. 24: What was the best book you read? The Hunger Games trilogy. 25: What was your greatest musical discovery? Livfesync! Haha. 26: What did you want and get? Upgrading my laptop. Heh. 27: What did you want and not get? Breezing through my first year in university. 28: What was your favourite film of this year? Avengers. HANDS DOWN! 29: What one thing made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Christmas. And long break for the first 4 months of the year. 30: How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012? Super casual and lazy most of the time. 31: What kept you sane? My family; pretty much the source of my self-motivation, and the thought of going back home for Christmas. 32: Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Choi Sooyoung. Hahaha. 33: What political issue stirred you the most? Jakarta's Governor election. 34: Who did you miss? The kid in me. 35: Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2012. Don't believe what you merely see and hear. 36: Quote a song lyric that sums up your year. I'll be home~ for Christmas~ Sunday, 16 December 2012 "Once bitten and twice shy. I keep my distance, but you still catch my eye. Tell me baby, do you recognize me? Well, it's been a year, it doesn't surprise me." "I know, I know, oh~ It's so, it's so, oh-oh-oh-oh~!" Well, it's been a great night, despite a terrible term 2 in SUTD. I hope to see more of you. :) Wednesday, 5 December 2012 A part of me is dying to scream. But somehow I'm still able to withstand the pressure, and suppress it all the way in from outside. Gotta find a way to deal with all this build-up. Never before it pressurized as fast. |
