Graduation Getaway - Prologue: Universal Studios Singapore

After the few most insane weeks of my life (so far), I actually am done with my degree.

Sure, I still have my masters right after the upcoming 4 months internship, but that's not the point.
I mean, wow. 3.5 years of my life in SUTD has breezed faster than I can even imagine.

It actually feels quite weird, suddenly having no schoolwork to worry about in the evening.
Clearing my studio table,
Check-listing my to-do list,
Having my meals in a snail's pace,
And turning off all my alarms.

Not that I would trade this with another insane week in school. No, not really.

It just feels.. really nice.
Like life can finally slows down a little bit, and allow me to for once stroll instead of just sprinting.

With graduation, comes a commencement,
But before that, I think my graduation trip(s) comes earlier.

Here are some photos I took from earlier today,
Where a group of friends and I decided to rather spontaneously use our free USS tickets that we won in the fraternity games a few months back.

My last visit to USS was when it just opened in 2010.
Back then the best ride they had was the Mummy ride.
So today was my first time trying out the Transformers and Battlestar Galactica! I could hardly wait!
We queued for the Transformers first not long after the park was opened,
But we still ended up queuing for an hour and a half.
Same went for the Battlestar Galactica, we queued for an hour.
But oh man was it worth such the wait.
I could feel myself losing my voice by the halfway we were inside the park.

I actually haven't been into roller coasters for so long already that I kinda trembled a little bit for my first few (repeated) rides.
But I really was glad that I got the front seat for my second time riding the Cylon part of Battlestar Galactica.
In fact it was a good time for my first front seat roller coaster ride ever!

Okay I need to rest a bit, then continue finalising the accommodation for the second part of this trip.

My head still feels like I'm still twisting along the Cylon roller coaster path.

Ciao!
